Welcome to Jconnect speed dating!
You have successfully registered and secured a spot to attend our speed dating event!
Date: Tuesday 8 March
Time: Arrive at 7pm for a 7:15pm start
Location: Canopy Bar of the Golden Sheaf Hotel in Double Bay
Food and drink: Included is an open bar with beer, wine and cider as well as food provided by Jconnect.
Finding the location: Access Canopy Bar via the courtyard staircase closest to where you order food in the back bar area. There will be a Jconnect poster stand located at the bottom of the stairwell.
Parking: Car park at the back of the Hotel (fees apply). Street parking is free but limited.

How the evening works:
Arrival: At registration you'll be given your speed dating card for the evening and a name tag.
Find your seat: Start the night sitting at your designated first table, which is the number next to your name on your speed dating card.
Speed dating: You'll have seven minutes at each table. A bell will ring to end each date. The girls will sit tight while the guys will move on to the next table. Between dates, write notes on your card about the person you just met and circle the person's name to indicate if you would like to see them again.
Half-way break: Around the half-way mark, we'll take a short break so you can refresh your drink or visit the restrooms.
Hand in your dating card: At the end of the evening, hand in your card with the names and your responses, and keep the part of the card where you made your notes.
Stick around: We have the space for the rest of the night, so they'll be plenty of opportunity to mingle once the mini-dates are over.
Get your mutual matches: If there is a mutual match, we'll send you a text exchanging contact information within 48 hours.
Tips: How to get the most out of your night!
Arrive on time: Make sure to arrive on time at 7pm as we will start promptly at 7:15pm. We can't start without you!
Cash in your drink vouchers: There will be an open bar throughout the event, so feel free to grab beers, wines or ciders to enjoy during your dates!
Write down notes between dates: Wrap up the conversations as soon as the bell rings as you will have one minute break between each speed date to circle names and make notes on your card about each date. With so many dates, it's easy to forget details if you don't write them down!
Circle many names to get mutual matches: Make sure you circle as many names as possible on your card to give you the best chance of having mutual matches so you can continue your dating experience when the Jconnect event is over!
Mingle at the bar for the rest of the night: We will have exclusive use of the bar after the speed dating has finished, so feel free to purchase more drinks, dinner and mingle!
This event will be Covid-safe, and all NSW public health guidelines regarding social distancing and hygiene procedures will be in place.
Note on photography: Please also note, Jconnect will be capturing photos and video during speed dating events for use in future promotional material.
Jconnect will not publish photos or video of event attendees where they can be easily identified without first gaining permission from the attendee. However, Jconnect may publish photos or video where event attendees can not be identified.
